With the introduction of private labels, At Home shoppers are now able to find the looks they love, in the style they want, at the low prices they expect. The first label, Bistro, serves up French-inspired kitchen and dining essentials, without the price tag of fine dining.

as the first of several private labels to launch, it was crucial to set visual guidelines that differentiated the content from our standard offerings.

  • convey a sense of energy

Show product in-use as much as possible. When not featuring talent, ensure imagery still has a sense of humanity via hands or propping.

  • tell a story

Always show product in environment instead of on a flat, graphic background. Lifestyle photography should feel active and lived in, like a behind the scenes snapshot.

  • product is hero

Ensure propping and styling elevates the product instead of detracting. Avoid covering or obscuring the product and focus on details that bring the product to life (sauce on a spoon, car keys in a trinket dish, etc.)
